Jack GinWe had landscape designers fail to appreciate and integrate the vertical drop (of 22 feet) in our project. It took an architect in David Wong to visualize and present a great design that turned the vertical drop from a problem into a feature. We are very thankful that he could turn our wasted land into a beautiful and useful effective landscape.

Colleen Hardwick NystedtDavid is more than just a talented designer. He is also an outspoken activist that people in leadership positions seek advice from. The citizens of Vancouver have benefited much from his efforts – from leading the community to save the city's urban forest, to engaging young people on saving frogs and the environment; to helping found community arts and cultural organizations over the past 30 years.

Paul MerrickIn the formative years of Paul Merrick Architects, David Wong was a key contributor to most of the significant projects in the practice at that time. These included Cathedral Place and City Square, where he was an integral part of both the design development and technical documentation group. More important, David's enthusiasm, energy, and wit constituted both the "catalyst" and the "glue" that fostered the joy, pride, and professional energy inherent in our work at that time.

Derek LeeDavid and I have collaborated on green initiatives over the last 5 years, most notably through the British Columbia Guangzhou Business Council in in the promotion sustainable development both in Vancouver and abroad.
